Joe’s Palm Room, owned by Joe Hammond, thrived in the west end of Louisville Kentucky for several decades beginning in 1954. Renowned musicians performed, jobs were created, businesses were formed and people from all walks of life convened. These relationships fueled a progressive culture and Joe was at the center.
